Archäologisches Museum Fließ — Attraction in Fließ

I highly recommend for history fans. Wow, what an amazing little museum, documenting some extremely special Roman and Celtic artifacts found in the local area. The displays are in German and (some) Italian, but thry have wifi for Google Translate and I was lucky enough to meet Tobias who helped explain in English some of the important pieces. Such as the incredible almost intact helmet found (1 of only 3 known to exist), the amazing jewelry and patterned pots, and the Celtic or Etuscan talismans. My favorite was the 15th century copy of a 4th century Roman map that covers Brittania to the Ganges!! I absolutely loved the visit and the quiet town. €6 entry if you don't have a special card...

Leuk museum met hele mooie items in 2 verschillende gebouwen. Enthousiaste rondleiding met kennis van zaken. Ingang museum is in het moderne gebouw (gelijk bij kleine parkeerplaats) aan de rechterzijde, hier kan je je aanmelden. Kleine parkeerplaats naast het museum (gratis max 60 min.). Bij de mini Mpreis 100m van het museum is ook een parkeergarage (1e uur gratis). In de parkeergarage is de opgraving van een historisch woongebouw mooi bewaard gebleven. Alles is zeker de...

Man erwartet so eine umfassende Sammlung aus der Bronzezeit, den heidnischen Opferplatz über 2000 Jahre, Reste der via Claudia augusta nicht in dieser Gegend. Ich wsr ganz begeistert , auch von det Aufbereitung und Darstellung. Für Urlauber ist es nicht ganz einfach, zum Museum zu finden. Die Ausschilderung könnte besser sein. Abet due Suche hat sich unbedingt gelohnt. Wir wsren auch bei dem Opferplatz auf der Pillerhöhe...sehrgut gemacht. Nochmals...
