Beautiful place to make some pictures with the cars. ABT used it for the release pictures of their SQ8 ABT and I always go to this place with my Subaru's when I go to Italy.

Auf dem Weg nach Italien haben wir einen kurzen Zwischenstopp gemacht und da sah ich diese tolle Brücke. Da haben wir beschlossen, einen kurzen Spaziergang an der Straße entlang zu machen ist leider auch nicht ganz ungefährlich, da sehr viele Motorräder und Autos unterwegs sind! Aber der Weg dahin hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Dieser Ausblick ist einfach sehenswert. Schaut doch mal auf meine Bilder. :)

Eine historische Eisenbogenbrücke, erbaut 1899 von der Firma Waagner aus Wien, die hier den Inn zwischen Fließ und Prutz überspannt. Sie steht unter Denkmalschutz. Das Denkmal mit dem Bronzeadler in der Nähe der Brücke erinnert an die hier stattgefundenen Kämpfe in den Jahren 1703 -Spanischer Erbfolgekrieg- und 1809 - Napoleonischer Krieg- mit den bayrischen Truppen.

An der Stelle der Pontlatzer Brücke querte bereits vor 1.500 Jahren die römische Via Claudia den Inn.
