Read moreThe zoo is situated in a very scenic place, wherever you look you see amazing nature, we were in late april and the mountains were almost all white. Very beautiful area. For the zoo itself, it doesn't offer many animals to see , the feeding areas are definitely an activity for the kids, (rabits, deers and goats). Mainly as the name suggests wild animals.. i believe it took us an hour to see all what the place offers. Exactly besides the "zoo" there is a playground for kids which was very nice, entrance is free but some games inside are paid... Also in the same place there is the "3d black golf" which you can buy a combo ticket for the zoo and golf. As for myself I didn't enjoy much the golf thing it was a but difficult for us and there was zero guidance , I think for such an activity some minimal instructions about how to play might definitely help, I don't recommend the golf thing. But the zoo with the playground can be a half day activity if you go with the kids . If you don't have kids I'm not sure it is interesting enough to...
Read moreLovely wildlife park at the bottom of Glossglockner right beside tollbooth. Animals are local, including deer, marmots, linx, bears and wolves. Petting zoo with very friendly goats who love the dried corn you can get for 50c or 1 euro from dispenser at their enclosure, the racoons like the corn too. The amusement park is outside the wildlife park so is free to enter apart from the charge for some of the rides. Most rides are 1 euro that you can get from change dispensers. Some rides need 2 people, 1 for the ride and another to put money in and press start button. Instructions for each ride are clear and in English as well as German. Nice restaurant outside the park. It takes about 2 hours to go round the wildlife park. Weather can be changeable as at bottom of mountain....
