Motorikpark Gamlitz — Attraction in Gamlitz

A good place to go with your family. Parking fee isn't that much considering this is the only thing you need to pay for. If I remember correctly the price as of August 2024 is 2€ per hour, but even if you don't have coins to pay for the machine, it also takes credit cards.

Swimming is also an option in one pond there. The other 2 ponds have prohibited swimming due to swans and other plants.

IIf you are thirsty, the bar offers beverages and ice cream. The price of the beverages is decently priced for Austria. The price of 0,5L Coca-Cola was around 3€ as...

Nice attraction especially for kids but parents can definitely try it, lots of fun! On a sunny summer day, be ready because it will be hot, really hot... There are almost no shadows and trees to protect yourself. Right now, new playing areas are getting built and maintenance of some old ones are also being done, which is really great. The entrance is free if you walk there, if you come with a car, you will have to pay the parking 1.5eur/h which is really decent. So nice place to go on a cool sunny day...

Stellplatz Motorikpark Gamlitz

Der Camping-Stellplatz am Motorikpark in Gamlitz punktet mit seiner Lage und ist sehr beliebt für Urlauber in der Südsteiermark, sowie Durchreisende. Man hat den Motorikpark, einen Naturbadeteich, einen E-Bike Verleih (sehr empfehlenswert!) sowie ein kleines Cafe direkt vor der Nase. Für die Umgebung ist der Stellplatz sehr ruhig. Auch die Stadt mit toller Gastronomie ist in ein paar Gehminuten erreichbar. Der Betreuer vom Stellplatz und Cafe ist äußert freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider sind die Sanitäranlagen nicht mehr für die starke Frequenz am Stellplatz ausgerichtet, da es jeweils nur 1 Dusche für Herren bzw. Damen (geteilt für Motorikpark bzw. Badeseebesucher und Camper) und keinen Geschirrabwaschplatz oder extra Waschbecken (Zähneputzen) gibt. Auch die Putzfrequenz kann in der Hauptsaison erhöht werden (1x morgendlich zu wenig - man bedenke abendliche Toilettengänge/Duschen der Camper). Eine Generalreinigung gegen Kalk und Verschmutzungen der Fliesen wäre auch wieder mal notwendig. Desinfektionsmittel ist in 3 Tagen auch keines nachgefüllt worden am Herren-WC. Grauwasser kann am Stellplatz entleert werden. Ebenfalls wäre eine richtige Mülltrennung noch wünschenswert (aktuell nur Restmülltonnen). Ein 24h Automat mit regionalen Produkten wäre auch noch eine gute Idee, um den Stellplatz zu optimieren.

Alles in allem für einen kostengünstigen Zwischenstopp (zZ. 28€ pro Tag pro Fahrzeug)...
