Curators are advised to know that in tourism, photos are gold, and sometime just photos atracts larger crowds. I have a say: "things that are not visited, does not exist!" The lack of evidence that the site has something to show, will give the general impression that there is nothing to visit, and some of tourists will skip the site for the bigger price, named Schloss Hof.

The best features of Niederweiden: -the great hall's frescoes with garden, birds and Chinoiserie. This pattern was a favourite of Maria Theresa's especially in her final years as she felt the disconfort of the summer. -the huge roof that was restaured being covered with shingle, a rarity. -sometimes you can be the single one...

Schloss Niederweiden is a hidden gem in the Weinviertel region and a great place for a relaxing break.

From a cyclist’s perspective, I really appreciated the clean and accessible public restrooms and the possibility to refill water bottles! A real bonus, especially on hot summer rides.

There’s enough space to park your bike and enjoy the peaceful, historical surroundings.

Highly recommended for cyclists passing through! Take a break and enjoy the green area in the shade. In the garden there are even deckchairs...

Have been driving by every time and finally decided to give it a short try while waiting for a colleague catch up for a meeting, its very easily accessible directtly on the road. Its nice and interesting but be aware that it is really as small as it looks like including the garden. Probably if you are into castles very close to this one is schloss-hof and if you are on a bike you can cross the river and also see devin castle :-) overall a nice place for...
