Schönen gutten tag meine damen und herren. I was warmly invited to sit at the sushi bar at Tamaki Den in Denver, Co. last night. The gentleman next to me was a regular. He ordered a glass of Grüner Veltliner. I sparked up a quick conversation. Pronounced Velt-Liner properly for the young man. He and the bartender were both surprised. I had the edamame, salmon Tamaki and three! blue crab rolls. Herr Hubner has an excellent wine. I was hoping for a light acidity-toned wine and was pleasantly surprised. White wines from Niederösterreich, just West of Wein (Vienna). I always explain to my friends here in the states that this is where the alps spill and descend onto the land and there you will find a very fine wine. Great people, fun music and the food is delicious. Zum Wohl meine Liebe!

Ich befinde mich derzeit im Urlaub in Frankreich. Der Huber Vision ist der einzige ausländische Weißwein, der in Supermärkten verkauft wird. Es ist eine Freude, in einem kleinen lokalen Supermarkt in der Bretagne einen Grünen Veltliner aus dem Kremstal zu entdecken. Ein Stück Österreich in Frankreich.
