Heiliger Stein — Attraction in Gemeinde Retzbach

A wonderful and peaceful place near the town of Retz in th Austrian area of "Weinviertel" (at thse Austrian - Czech border) For locals it's a well known place in the area for a afternoon walk at the fragments of a old middle age church. It's said that the remaining stones of the church have some healing powers, that why the place its called "heiliger Stein" which means: "holy stone". There is also a little Chappell at the hill, and every weekend a local vintner is serving their wine...

Very interesting place. You can see there twelve sacred stones. It is a place where there is supposed to be high geomagnetic energy that people used to cure themselves. In the past There was an old church. Nice view to both Austria And Czech republic countryside and vineyards....
