A magnificent lake that would be a shame to miss! The hike from the Grundlesee campsite is definitely worth the detour. You'll then reach this peaceful lake, which could fully deserves the name "Hidden Gem"!Just take a look at the photos. You can take a break and enjoy a coffee or a beer at the restaurant, or simply sit and enjoy the silence and peace. A word of advice, though: if, like us, you want to continue on foot to the nearby Kammersee, it won't be possible. To do so, you'll have to take the boat, which only departs if there are at least four passengers. The journey takes about an hour: 40 minutes round trip and 20 minutes to Kammersee, as we were told. Hidden Gem by Bike – Toplitzsee A truly magnificent lake — an absolute must-see if you're in the region!

I took a bike tour from Bad Mitterndorf to Toplitzsee via Grundlsee, and it was well worth the ride. The route is scenic and peaceful, with plenty of beautiful nature along the way.

Once you arrive at Toplitzsee, you’re rewarded with a lake that truly lives up to the title "hidden gem." Just take a look at the photos — the atmosphere is incredibly tranquil.

There’s a small restaurant by the lake where you can relax with a coffee or beer, or simply enjoy the silence and serenity of the...
