Schaubergwerk — Attraction in Hüttenberg

Wow! I've been to a few mines so far but this one really was actually the best. You have to join the one hour tour through the labyrinth and need to wamear helmets at all times. The tour itself is awesome: they actually turn on some of the machines in order to give you a little hint of how working down there actually was. The tour is very kid friendly with a lot of side information on signs just for kids. The Tourguide was really good: he explained everything, how they lived, his stuff worked down there and how hard it was. Prices are not too expensive - a family of 5 pays 23 euros - including entrance tickets for the mineral-museum and the nearby Heinrich Harrer museum. It's actually a must see if you're...

Hier wird viel geboten: Von Gastronomie über Museen bis hin zu einer Bergwerksführung (um einen stolzen Preis! Besser Kombiticket nehmen, um auch andere Museen in der Gegend besuchen zu können). Was mir jedoch nicht so gut gefallen hat: Im Lokal war der Kellner mürrisch Es gibt nur 3 Führungen täglich. Wenn man gerade eine Führung versäumt hat, muss man zwei bis drei Stunden warten (und die Führung ist im Preis inbegriffen, ob man teilnehmen will oder nicht) Es gibt zwar viele Ausstellungsstücke im Museum, allerdings ist die Erklärung dazu oft mangelhaft. Bei einigen Tafeln fehlt z.B. die Legende, bei einigen Objekten, worum es sich überhaupt handelt. Im Geologiemuseum wird wenig erklärt. Die "Steinernen Linsen", eine Besonderheit in der Region, sind nicht mal angeschrieben (und weiß ich nur, weil ich schon dort war). Im Puppenmuseum fehlen einige Puppen. Siamo arrivati troppo tardi con l'orario di ingresso per la visita alla miniera la mattina così abbiamo aspettato la visita delle ore 14, compreso nel biglietto d'ingresso c'è anche il museo delle bambole di pezza che si trova a pochi metri della miniera ed è molto molto carino, le stesse bambole le abbiamo trovate nel museo di Sankt Veit an der Glan, e anche il museo della miniera che si trova al piano superiore dell'ingresso della miniera, con pezzi provenienti da tutto il mondo. Nella casa principale dove si fanno i biglietti c'è un piccolo negozietto e anche uno snack bar. le ragazze che ci lavorano sono state molto gentili e visto che la visita era in tedesco ci hanno fatto trovare dei documenti in italiano per sapere la storia. Sotto il museo delle bambole ci sono i bagni e una stanza dove poter prendere le giacche e i caschetti prima...
