Wiggi Rafting GmbH — Attraction in Haiming

We had an absolute class time doing the Imst Gorge rafting tour today! We definitely recommend booking this experience, as the rafting school is extremely professional, while being very funny and friendly. All of the equipment is provided by the school, many sizes are available. The equipment is in good state, and includes wetsuits, shoes, helmet and a safety vest. The training is throughout, including dry training and wet training in the beginning of the river, where the river current is slow, including falling out of the boat, asserting everyone that they will be put back into the boat, if anything happens.

Additionally, we want to add that we absolutely L O V E D doing this with our guide, pictured below. He kept it professional, yet funny (remembering all the names!), and informative (for example telling us about the nature and the colour of water). We wanted to give our special praise to him, without him it would not be half as fun. Keep this one around Wiggi,...

The Canyoning was really cool but the interaction with one of the guides was horrible at the end and destroyed the whole experience. He took pictures for which we had to pay 5€, up to then perfect. But then he said in a very very rude way that only iphones and that android phones would take too long, that there is no way to do it. That it would take too long and he would miss the whole day, during the whole time he was swearing and rude... A pitty... In every other business with clients that guy should be fired...

We don't remember the name, sorry. He was an older Austrian guy not very tall. He drove one of the two cars that dropped us at the beginning of the route. Maybe you can see who was in charge the day we went, 23rd of August 2023. The fact that he was charging for the pics is wild, even more if he was doing it...

We did the rafting down the Ache (the more advanced raft) and it was fantastic. All the staff and instructors were friendly and very knowledgeable. They spoke English so we understood everything that we had to do. All the instructions were clear and I felt safe in the hands of our instructor. Would highly recommend booking with Wiggi Rafting. We also went Canyoning with them because we had such a great time. All gear (wetsuits, helmets and shoes) is included in the price and there is lockers for your stuff while you are out rafting. Hot showers available for after. Accessible via bus for those who don’t have a car....
