Visiting Schloss Halbturn was a truly delightful experience! The castle’s architecture is beautiful, with a rich history that’s well-preserved throughout the grounds. The exhibitions inside were informative and offered great insight into the region’s cultural and historical significance.

The surrounding gardens are lovely and peaceful, perfect for a leisurely stroll. We also enjoyed visiting the on-site restaurant, which served delicious local cuisine in a charming setting.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making our visit even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or just looking for a picturesque place to spend the day, Schloss Halbturn is definitely worth a visit. I highly...

There are precisely two good things.

  1. the castle itself, if you like it
  2. the food, which is also functioning as a stand alone restaurant. Because of that I'd recommend eating here, sightseeing a little and sleeping in somewhat more comfortable place, e.g. your car or a park bench. And don't even thing about taking room with someone you aren't 110% comfortable with, as bathrooms have glass door and you can see everything...

Stunning castle and in a beautiful region. Museumsdorf is close by and being in a wine region the whole area is worth a visit and especially the schloss when the garden show is in town. Exhibitors with food and drinks, flowers and roses and handcrafts arrive from all over europe to show their wares....

Nice place, but honestly, I was expecting more. However, the park is very relaxing. They do not allow to go down to the parter at the front though. A little shop situated in the secondary building (not in the palace itself) is interesting, too. They have local wines for sale, but they are hugely overpriced.
