Ischgl Skyfly — Attraction in Ischgl

Together with kids we waited for 30min for a ride on top of the tower. During this time there was zero information in English for what’s happening. Then we were told (in German only) to go back down. At the office we have not received a refund (89 EUR) for the failed service. We were told to ask for a refund at the cashier of the gondola lift. Immediately we went down by gondola and turned to the cashier office. It was closed. No one was there. We have paid 89 EUR and wasted two hours (buying tickets, gondola ride, check in queue at the office, waiting on the tower, check out queue, gondola down) for nothing. In effect, we were scammed. But then we stayed in Ischgl for the night to come back for the refund in the morning and have another go at Sky Fly (with discounted price with the visitor card, it turned out). The experience was awesome when everything worked :) [5...

Accident happened today on the skyfly. The brakes weren’t working and two people crashed at the end of the ride into the wall and had to go to hospital . I’ve lost all confidence in this zip wire and would not go on it again . Two people could have died today as a result of a total breach of health and safety . Not...

Für „Nichtflieger“ kann es durchaus spektakulär sein. Nach Möglichkeit sollte man ohne seine Skier fliegen, weil es sonst ein ziemliches Gerödel ist. Außerdem muss man zu seiner eigenen Ausrüstung noch das Gurtzeug die ganzen Treppen bis zum Startpunkt hochschleppen. Später kommt noch die Einhängvorrichtung mit hinzu.Das ist schon ziemlich anstrengend. Die Fahrt ist bis auf den Start und die jeweiligen Umsteigpunkte und das Ziel sehr gleichmäßig. Negativ war, dass ich einen etwas älteren Gutschein hatte, der zuerst nicht anerkannt wurde. Ich musste also vorher im Prinzip doppelt bezahlen, habe das Geld aber später nach einiger Zeit und hin und her zurückerhalten. Das geht deutlich einfacher!!! Ansonsten eine sehr sichere Angelegenheit. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und kompetent. (Bis auf die Kasse 😕 mit dem umständlichen hin und her mit dem Gutschein, hat einfach nur Zeit und Nerven gekostet.....). Fazit: Kann man machen, muss...
