Wunderschöner Ausflug ! Die Burg am Thierberg inklusive Wahlfahrtskirche nahe Kufstein erreicht man am besten mit dem Auto. Zuerst fährt man mit dem Auto zum kostenlosen Parkplatz des Gasthaus Neuhaus. Dann wandert man gemütlich vorbei an wunderschönen Kreuzwegstationen zum "Gipfel" des Kraftort Thierberg wo sich eine Wallfahrtskirche und ein Heimatmuseum befindet. Die Wanderung zur Kirche dauert in etwa 30 Min. Der Thierberg ist ausserdem von einem sehr netten Einsiedlermönch bewohnt. In dieser Einsiedelei kann man auch noch religiöse Andenken wie Rosenkränze oder kleine bunte Ringe gegen eine Spende erwerben. . Vom Thierberg aus hat man außerdem einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Stadt Kufstein und das Inntal .
