Skilift Jauerling — Attraction in Maria Laach am Jauerling

I came with a school group. It is a nice little hill for learning and practice. The weather wasn't great at +7c, but they can't control that. The learners area is nice and flat with plenty of space for little ones that have never skied before. The ski instructors had limitless patience and were kind even when kids were crying. They also got results with many of the kids going from nothing to being able to snow plow down the small practice hill. All in all it is...

Good snow, but: too many people. Also, considering there is only one Lift with a respecitive waiting time due to many people, it is a too expensive. The magic carpet for kids is, however pretty good, but: also very crowded. At least that is free to use for the kids. Plus is: you can share your ticket, meaning: one adult can stay with the (small) kid in the kids area and the other one can ski or snowboard down...

Very small ski resort. only one 500m of Slope. And only one lift (schlep lift). The restaurant is also small and the food is simple, price is moderate (wish they had chicken schnitzel for the children). It's only good for few hours with the children during the weekend/weekdays afternoon. There is also a shop where you can rent equipment and book Training/course...
