Steirischer Bodensee — Attraction in Politische Expositur Gröbming

We visited in the afternoon and found the parking lot almost empty. Entry to the site was free with the Schladming summer card. It’s about a 15 minute walk on a paved road to reach the lake. Very easy to reach from Schladming. And the view is really beautiful. The waterfall, snowy mountain top, the lake and the river; they all create a wonderful scenery together. One whole day went by without noticing. We were lost in the natural beauty of this place. Such a beautiful little gem. The terrain surrounding the lake is organized and mostly flat so it’s good for children / strollers. With that being said, there’s a short hiking trail to the waterfall that we really enjoyed and even our 3 year old surprised us with her abilities to go through the rough terrain.
