Umbalfälle v oblasti Ströden je skvost ukrytý v rakouských Alpách. Výlet začíná na placeném parkovišti ve Strödenu – denní poplatek činí 8 €, platí se v hotovosti nebo kartou v automatu. Už odtud vás čeká nádherná procházka podél řeky Isel.

Cestou se otevírají panoramatické výhledy na desítky vodopádů, z různých úhlů a vyhlídek. Hřmění vody, svěží vzduch a horské kulisy vytvářejí jedinečnou atmosféru. Po zhruba 2 kilometrech chůze narazíte na klidnější část řeky, kde se dá schladit nohy nebo jen odpočinout v přírodě.

Ideální pro rodiny, milovníky hor i fotografy. Cesta je dobře značená a zvládnutelná i pro děti (doporučujeme pevnou obuv).

This destination is mandatory to visit! Waterfalls are wonderful and the hiking trails are adventurous. 🤩 we visited in late April, there was still snow here and there and the trail was slippery. Der Wanderweg entlang der Isel ist ein großartiges Naturschauspiel. Vom hinteren Parkplatz in Ströden geht es leicht bergauf durch den Wald, immer mit tollem Blick auf den Fluss. Bevor es zu den spektakulären Wasserfällen aufgeht, kann man sich bei Bedarf im Almgasthaus stärken. Der eigentliche Pfad durch das Umbaltal ist für Groß und Klein gut zu begehen, durch die vielen Stufen und den mitunter starken Anstieg leider nicht für jedermann begehbar. Auf immer wieder abzweigenden Metallplattformen über den tosenden Wassermassen hat man einen genialen Blick auf das klare Gletscherflusswasser. Vereinzelte Bänke (z.B. unter dem Felsmassiv) laden zum Durchschnaufen und Genießen der Natur ein. Der Wanderweg ist bei allen Wetterlagen zu empfehlen. Wer noch Puste hat, kann dem sich anschließenden Pfad folgen und gelangt in ein fantastisches Bergpanorama bei der Clara-Hütte.
