Die Falkensteinwand ist eine beeindruckende, bis zu 200 Meter hohe Felswand am Nordufer des Wolfgangsees, die steil in den See abfällt. Sie ist ein beliebter Ort für Klippenspringer und war Austragungsort von Red Bull Cliff Diving Events in den Jahren 2005 und 2008. Ein historischer Pilgerweg führt über den Falkenstein und bietet 24 beschilderte Erlebnispunkte, die die Geschichte und Legenden der Region vermitteln. Die Falkensteinkirche, eine Wallfahrtskirche aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, liegt auf halber Höhe der Wand und ist ein bedeutendes spirituelles Ziel. The only way to see and access it is via the lake. You can get a fantastic view of this rock wall by the ferry service.
