A cool place in 20 minutes from Graz to enjoy nature waterfalls and exercise. The condition of the wooden stairs above the gorge is monitored by special services. The route is not difficult, for the first time we completed it without problems and had fun with my 5-year-old daughter. The most abundant time is spring; in summer sometimes the stream dries up completely. In winter there may be snow at the top here when it rains in Graz, and in summer when it’s hot it’s a couple of degrees cooler than in the city. There is a gasthaus with cafe at start and a mini zoo. Soup and schnitzel...

Awesome place to visit, with beautiful waterfall and the wooden bridges. I would love to visit once again!it is that beautiful. Suitable place for hikers, and also for kids under their parents guidance because the way is almost everywhere moist having moss. Unfortunately if rains the steps might be slippery. Recommended to visit on a sunny day in months of spring to end of summer. One thing i have noticed every where is the wooden logs dead trees into the waterfall i think it is natural and low in maintenance. Over all the waterfall makes you happy with satisfying water...

A wonderful 1.5 to 2 hrs hike through the mountains and woods. The trail is well maintained. Medium difficulty since it involves some climbing up and down - both wooden stairs and slopes. You will be rewarded with multiple interesting nooks and corners, and lovely views. We took the loop (Kesselfall Rundweg, clearly marked). Can park your car free at the start of the trail. There is a nice restaurant there. You will probably need a car to get there - not very sure if public transport goes there. We drove there.
