Brunnalm - Hohe Veitsch — Attraction in St. Barbara im Mürztal

The worst resort I have ever visited in my life. We were hiking and the cable car only runs upwards for some incomprehensible reason. Apparently it's dangerous, because on the way up it's something completely different 😀. The lady who works at the top station of the cable car should start taking medication for the psyche or some mental treatment. she shouts at the tourists because it is okay that her colleague can go down on the cable car because he is probably a superhuman and an ordinary person does not know how to sit on a cable car. Beautiful setting and good facilities but poorly managed. Poor snow conditions with few runs open, when we visited, meant pistes were in poor condition and with poor or non-existent signage. Many inexperienced skiers skiing way too fast and out of control. My wife was knocked over by one of them, who completely ignored the "langsam" sign, and was injured quite badly. Ich würde gern etwas Anderes berichten, aber dieses Skigebiet ist schlichtweg eine Frechheit.

Unser Skitag begann am heutigen Tag (28.1.24) um 9:15. Als wir mit der Sesselbahn oben ankamen, waren beide Schlepplifte noch nicht in Betrieb. Auf Nachfrage beim Personal erhielten wir bloß ein keckes "Joa, wir sperren dann schon auf" (Sonnkogellift). Dieselbe Situation spielte sich um 15:55 beim Brunnalmlift ab. Fünf Minuten vor der "letzten Bergfahrt" (um 16 Uhr!) lies uns der Mitarbeiter nicht mehr die Bergfahrt antreten, die letzten Gäste seien schon auf halber Höhe. Unseren Einwand, dass es noch nicht 16 Uhr sei, überging der Mitarbeiter schlichtweg.

Insgesamt bin ich einfach der Meinung, dass Betriebszeiten dringend einzuhalten sind. - Auch im Hinblick dessen, dass die Lifte sowieso 30min. später als üblich aufsperren.

Gerne hätte ich meinen Frust persönlich kundgetan, allerdings sind die Kassen nicht bis 16 Uhr besetzt. So muss ich dies leider auf diesem Weg tun. Ansonsten hat uns das Gebiet gut gefallen, aber aufgrund beschriebener Ereignisse werden wir wohl nicht...
