2018 Summer update.. price still prohibitively high. And beware, no credit card. .. all Cash only... in 2018 and for such high amounts... if you are 4 or 5 and want to ride 4 times each, best is the 10 ride cards. You will need 2 cards and pay 102 euros ... cash... beyond common sense. Amazing fun. Just 3 things. 1st Unsmilling and worse customer service i have experienced in any attraction i have been.. owner and staff seems unaware of customer service or that they make money from us coming there. 2nd .. one of the most touristic place and lake in the area.... what on earth are these opening time? 10am to 5pm... sounds like winter opening time. Do they know we have daylight until like 9pm in summer? Maybe not too keen to work hard hours? And it all come to point 3.. the price. How so pricy for what you get ... and you pay hard price to go up... and yet another even higher price if you want to come down.... hilarious. But yet again , and they probably know that they don t care , i have been many times as it is so much fun and will still go again... Come and enjoy it and make it even more challenging.. try to get a smile from these guys while enjoying the ride.. Keep safe

6 stars! What an experience! €35 for 6 rides is great and the whole experience is awesome. You grab your cart from the shed and haul it on to the track (they are very heavy), then you get winched up a long track backwards to the top of the slope and the start of the rodelbahn. You have a choice of two routes and both are great. The tracks are fun, offer plenty of opportunity to go fast, last a good amount of time, and offer glorious views. We went on a Friday in late August in mid-morning and there were hardly many others there - perfect! People complaining about safety have lost the plot. It's super safe, has plenty of signs in English and German, and nothing I saw across 12 trips suggested this was anything other than a phenomenal way to spend a few hours.

The Sommerrodelbahn Strobl-Gschwendt am Wolfgangsee is a fun and scenic summer toboggan run perfect for families and thrill-seekers alike. The track offers beautiful views of Lake Wolfgang as you speed down the hillside, and the ride is long enough to feel exciting but still safe for kids. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Whether you’re stopping by during a day trip or making it part of a longer stay in the Salzkammergut region, this toboggan run is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the area in a playful, active way! Love it❤️❤️

The view from the top was truly amazing, but the safety hazards in this facility completely overshadowed it. On my first try, I specifically asked an employee if there was any difference between the two lanes—they told me there was none. So, I chose one at random.

Midway down, a man with his child suddenly dashed toward me and started yelling that I was going “too slow,” even though I was going cautiously as a beginner. He then invented his own “rule” and told my friends to use the so-called “slower lane,” which, according to staff, doesn’t even exist. Unfortunately, I ended up in the same lane with him again and got in his way.

At the end, he shouted disgusting language at me, including “FU” and “Schei*e,” which completely ruined my experience. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, I saw a woman injured bad enough that an ambulance had to be called.

Adding to this unacceptable experience, the employee at the start made a racist comment simply because they assumed I was Chinese.

Good luck with your facility—and I sincerely hope you address your safety issues before someone else gets seriously hurt. And to the “dad” behind me: I hope you learn basic manners before taking your child to...
