Weißsee — Attraction in Uttendorf

Can definitely recommend to visit for a hiking trip (12km round, 850m elevation) to Weißsee.

We visited this place in July 2021. It took us 2hrs quick walk from the public free parking spot at Enzingerboden 47°10.25735'N, 12°37.52005'E to the Weißsee glacier lake. We arrived to the parking spot by car. The beginning of the hike is pretty steep but then you reach up to the Middle Station of the lift and then it gets much more enjoyable with astonishing views and nature 😍. There were several places with snow you need to cross, but all fine with normal shoes. We met one group and they took the lift up and just walked back, so up to you (the price is approx. 17€ I guess but we didn’t try). The lake is definitely worth it!! Most beautiful place I have ever seen. Well worth a visit. Stay in the hotel next to the lake or just have a beer and food after your walk. The walk around the lake is not for everyone, need to be able to walk around...

La vallée du Stubach part d'Uttendorf à 800 m pour d'arriver au lieu-dit d'Enzingerboden à 1.480 m. La montée en voiture permet déjà de découvrir de très beaux paysages. De là, la télécabine des glaciers du Weisssee permet d'accéder au Rudolfshütte à 2.315 m. Arrivé au sommet, on découvre une très belle vue sur le Weisssee et sur les glaciers environnants.
