Well, where should i start. €19.50 is a bit steep for 16 km. Most of the parking had the views obstructed by unnecessary trees, none had toilets. The parking areas were well maintained and the tunnels were in good order. The new sky walk, which, was under construction, forced people onto the road and the small climb up to the platform was very slippery, steep and challenging with no handrail or steps. At the top the car park was generous but very oddly marked. The views were spectacular with a 5 minute walk you are in true alpine scenery. Highly recommended...

La strada è a pagamento (17e mentre scrivo, gratuita con la Carinzia Card). Ci sono molti punti panoramici, ma degni di nota solo un paio.. tutti gli altri sono di fatto identici. Sicuramente vale la pena fermarsi alla ROTE WAND (P6) per via di una terrazza a sbalzo veramente suggestiva. Molto bello anche il punto panoramico a 360gradi che si trova al P11 da cui si vedono senza difficoltà 3 laghi. Dal P11 si può poi raggiungere (a piedi circa 15/20 minuti percorso semplice, ma con qualche centinaio di metri con forte pendenza) una seconda terrazza a sbalzo con un impatto decisamente più contenuto rispetto alla Rote Wand, ma comunque interessante. Ci sono poi altri sentieri che però non ho potuto fare. La strada di per sé è comoda, ma mentre la si percorre non si ha la sensazione di essere in un "bel posto". I punti panoramici sono praticamente attaccati ai parcheggi, comodo. Avrei apprezzato qualche indicazione in più nelle aree di sosta (io ad esempio le rovine del castello al P3 non le ho viste). In definitiva un po' troppo caro per quello che offre.. se si ha la Carinzia Card ovviamente non ha senso non andare. Comunque l'ideale se non si può camminare molto e si vuole comunque godere di...
