Schöner Gipfel, entweder als Tagestour, oder auch von der Rastkogelhütte aus. Aufstieg wie Abstieg. Empfehlung: Von der Hütte (via 318,302A), Abstieg dann aber (zunächst weglos) zum Dreispitzkopf, weiter via Breitenkopf und Rosskopf, welcher beim Abstieg wieder in den Weg vom Aufstieg mündet (318) und zurück zur Hütte (allerdings nur für wirklich Geübte!).

Der Rastkogel liegt nicht direkt im Skigebiet! Daher sind die Bilder mit den Aufnahmen im Schnee irreführend. Der Rastkogel wird im Rahmen einer alpinen Bergwanderung bestiegen, z.B. Weidener Hütte oder Tux.

Wunderbares Panaroma, angenehmer, nicht zu fordernder Aufstieg. Perfekt ausgewiesene Wege und dann eine der besten Hütten auf dem Weg ins Tal: die Weidener Hütte.

Wunderschöne und lange Wanderung über die Rastkogelhütte auf den Rastkogel, unschwerer Charakter, nur in Gipfelanstieg etwas steiler, aber nie ausgesetzt.

Toller Aussichtsberg mit Blick ins Inntal/Zillertal und Tuxertal. Ideal als Skitour. Viele Einkehrmöglichkeiten im Schigebiet Lämmerbichl.
