Amazing place where you can experience the awesomeness and history of Austrian military aviation. Ultra cheap entry for 3 euro per person. You can explore it in under 1 hour, but if you want to dig deep you could definitely do at least a couple. We spent two hours there. The shop was also great, easy spending of 180 euros for me and my lady. Bought some very light and cool polaroid military sunglasses, and some other cool stuff. I just couldn't resist.

Go "tigers" 💪 !!!

I know it must be hard to stay humble. ;) It would definitely be hard for me, if I was a military pilot and serving at this base. Can't wait to see you in two days when you fly over us at the Austrian...

This place is fantastic ! The best 2€ you've ever going to spend. Yes 2€ . That's all it cost to enter. Great display of vintage and not so vintage aircraft. It's not the biggest military museum I've visited, but it is crammed with interesting aircraft artefacts . If you're nearby, do go. It's worth the trip. If you are lucky, you will also get a chance to see the Euro fighters take off and land as it's still an active fighter base.

Foot note : All the text is in Austrian/German do what I and my friends did use a translation app. Don't be put off by other reviews complaining about that. It's a very minor...

The museum is in one of the original airfield hangars and still has its overhead crane in situ ! Several exhibits are on display outside whilst inside aircraft and helicopters are packed into every available space and even suspended from the roof . A great collection spanning several decades of Austrian military aviation with informative display rooms on the first floor including a He-162 replica . Please check their website for opening times and prices as I visited during the Airpower22 open-days .
