Askeran Fortress (Əsgəran Qalası) is a small old fortress that you can stop by and see if it is on your route. It is built right next to the Qarqar River (Qarqarçay) It carries historical importance and provides an oppurtunity to take stunning photos. I only walked through a single wall, and walking from one end to other and seeing this place only took about 15 minutes I believe. I don't know if there is anywhere else in the fortress that you can visit and see. The stairs and paths are a bit narrow so two people hardly fit, keep in mind. Don't forget to visit!

Это просто развалины, но в достаточно приличном состоянии. Через крепость проходит шоссе. В крепости идут большии восстановительные работы, вполне возможно будет там и музей. Часть крепости уже восстановили. Процентов 80 старая часть, остальное новодел.
