Mayak Beach — Attraction in Baku City

The beach is absolutely beautiful and really wide. It’s also free. I think the season might be over so we’re there all by ourselves. There are beautiful rocks at the side of the beach with fish swimming around them. The only thing to complain about is the amount of trash people left there. It’s just sad. Someone should really invest in trash bins because there are none. Please, please, take your trash with you...

The beach was empty, it was nice and clean. A lots of shacks where there to chill. Water was clean and you could walk almost 100 mtr in water to touch the waves till your knees.

However the path towards the beach was not clean, lots of broken bottles and glass. Make sure you wear sleepers!
