The place is beautiful but was almost empty when we visited. The architecture is great, place is spacious, and very neat. However no one to guide you there. We visited both tomb, and museum. There is no one at the tomb, free to visit no charges. In museum, it costs 2 manat per person, 2 floors containing details about Nizam Gencevi 12th century poet of Ganja however the employees there don't speak or understand English so you are almost at your own. So its worth while to visit if you are in Ganja, because Nizami Gencevi is most famous person in...

The Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum stands as a revered repository of invaluable cultural heritage. This majestic structure, erected in honor of the illustrious poet, serves as a testament to his enduring legacy. The architectural design inspires awe, while the serene ambiance invites contemplation of Nizami's timeless works. It transcends its role as a mere mausoleum, becoming a sacred pilgrimage site for poets and a boundless source of inspiration for all. To overlook this iconic landmark would be a...

I came to Ganja only to visit the tomb of the great poet and express my gratitude to him, Nizami Ganjavi. Rested in a calm place, his poems and the marks he made in persian literature are eternal. Birds chirping and colorful reflection on the walls and down on his tomb, give you moments to keep still and appreciate the presence of the beautiful sleeping soul. If you are in Ganja, I believe it is a must to give Nizami Ganjavi Mousoleum a visit.
