What can I say about Half Moon Beach? Where do I begin? I will first start by saying it is definitely a little piece of heaven right here on Earth.

It was perfect weather and the water felt like a body refreshing elixir restoring my tired body as I entered it. It was so clear and I could see several tropical fish swimming around.

The sand felt amazing in between my toes and underneath my feet, feeling as if I was getting the best warm sand pedicure.

Oh, let me not forget to mention the awesome services provided at the beach. They have cabanas for rent, water bikes, snorkeling gear and the wonderful clamshell shades with 2 amazing lounge chairs where you can relax and enjoy the warmth of the sun without the burn.

I definitely recommend visiting this little piece of heaven. I always arrive to this little getaway via Carnival Cruise lines and it's amazing staff.

Carnival's private island Half Moon Beach is just an extension of the amazing experience you get while on the ship.

This is beautiful beach. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This white sand beach stretches for several thousand feet, going from the tender marina with several gift shops to the west end of the island. There are three rows of beach chairs at the beginning of the beach, but there aren’t any at the end. There are also private cabanas you can rent, some of which have two floors. The sand is white and the water is a beautiful light blue. When I was here the waves were quite small, being only around two feet. The ocean erodes the sand frequently, and sand beneath the front of some of the beach chairs by the water at the beginning of the beach collapsed. Some people’s shoes at the front of beach chairs by the water at the beginning of the beach we’re also washed away, so I wouldn’t recommend sitting there. However, it’s easy to distinguish which chairs are susceptible to this because the sand beneath them is much smoother than sand beneath the rest of the beach chairs since they...

Went on a vacation with my mom recently and had one of the best, most relaxing, and beautiful vacations I have ever been on.

Our room was stunning - always clean and had the most amazing view. The food was spectacular - so many options to choose from. The Sugar Mill and Dimare are highly recommend. Lester's Bar also comes with beautiful entertainment some nights.

The staff was exceptional - specific shoutouts to Sarah Kaye at check-in (really - she deserves an immediate raise and promotion) and Dean and Kori out front.

Overall, I can't recommend coming here enough. We will be back soon - but not soon enough. You will not regret...

Wonderful stop. If you are on a cruise where this is a trip option, GOOOOO. You will be missing out. Beautiful sand and water, a chair is included with your excursion, drinks are SEPERATE from the cruise drink package even if it says its included prepare to have to pay for it. The real treat is the water, and the fishes that swarm and play with you. Few pics of this, it's so neat. They swarm around in schools near the guests visiting and are a treat. If you have the chance GOOOO! Even from a sand hating, yet ocean loving person this beach venue rocks.

The beach area is where they set up the clamshells - You can get 'excursion;' tickets to reserve a clamshell so you cam relax on the beach, go for a swim, and enjoy the parasailers streaming past. Form the beach you get a good view out of the cay towards your cruise ship and the open sea beyond. The beach can get quite crowded so it feels a bit more like a tanning salon than a beach per se. You have to go a distance to get free of the clamshells. If you go for a swim, tiny almost translucent fish will nibble at your toes, which is super-awesome.

Hands down the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The water was more clear than a swimming pool; perfect for lounging and snorkeling! Lounge chairs adorn the beach and they are free to use, plus there is no shortage of them. Just find your spot, plop down and get your sunburn on. There are numerous bars and cabanas (the cabanas are not free to use) just off the sand to keep you hydrated and fueled. Small shopping areas just off the water shuttle docking area, plus plenty of food at the Beach BBQ! Don't miss out on this beach.
