Gaulding Cay Beach — Attraction in Central Eleuthera

We love this beach. We like to plan a day trip to visit because it's a drive from our rental. Located on the Caribbean side of Eleuthera it's usually calm. The waters are shallow, with wide sweeping white sand beach. There are trees for shade when you feel the need for a break from the sun. It's just a quick trip over to Daddy Joe's for a cool refreshment and a snack if you didn't bring your cooler or just need to sit in the AC comfort...

A lot of private landowners have bought up the various access points to the beach such that now, it is completely inaccessible to the public. This is the reason why countries such as Mexico, have severe restrictions on foreign ownership of properties within 50 miles of the coastline. Very sad that the public and visitors can’t access these beautiful places because private owners felt the need to hoard these areas...

Not specifically what I want to right a review for but it was the closet hug I could find. Sooo in the corner of this cove there are sea turtles. I was Looking for them all week and we finally ran into this place in hopes of maybe finding one. We ended up finding like 20 or more.
