This beach...wow. So serene. So beautiful (but it’s the Bahamas, so beautiful beaches are infinite, lol) However, this particular stretch of sand and land is the ultimate chill spot.
Driving towards the beach, you also get to see and witness the devastation & aftermath of Hurricane Dorian. The amount of homes (& boats) that were destroyed by that massive storm is so heartbreaking. *So spend your dollars locally and support Bahamians and Bahamian businesses while you are here 🇧🇸
The Bahamas is always so welcoming to tourists and others and folks from all walks of life...we do our part by spending locally and investing in businesses here.

Because it is a nice drive away from the main parts of town in Freeport, make sure you have gas ⛽️ AND a buddy (or 5) when you go to visit this beach.
Yes it is secluded, which is always a bonus for us non party boat, chill vibe-sans a huge crowd of beach goers, people.
That being said, it’s SO secluded that you don’t want to go there alone. That’s why is said take a buddy, or 5, lol.
This beach is gorgeous. Take a group of friends with ya and have a great time 🤙🏿 (don’t forget to take everything you brought with you 🗑 so we can all do our part in keeping theses beaches clean...

Some of the caverns connect to the sea, and when the tide goes out they partially empty, creating natural fountains in the shallow water. There's currently one at 26°33'38.7"N 78°31'41.0"W . That's on the stretch that Google Maps calls Peterson Beach, but the locals call the whole of this section...
