Giving me a drawing of a path and telling me to follow the path, is not a tour. The cave tour was extremely disappointing. Then telling me to follow a wooden plank path to the beach across the street is not a great idea for tourists, given how desolate the pathways look (right out of a horror movie). Once you get to the beach, it is breathtaking, warm water and beautiful, but deserted. There was nothing to do or see but beautiful blue water snd white sand. The only bright spot on the beach was the gentleman that rented umbrellas, played island music and sold ice cold drinks with his son. His hustle needs to be properly supported and grown into a consistent daily business that he gets paid to do by whoever is in charge of the beach. There needs to be an attraction always, and he's willing to show up, so make it pop. It would be a win win for him, the tourists, the reveiws, and whoever is in charge. Sun, sand...
Read moreWith Grand Bahama Nature Tours we visited the Lucayan National Park. This was an awesome jeep tour! We got some automatic or manual speed jeeps, with radio communication with the guide. We had a very nice guide, Sammy, who helped us a lot on the route. We got to see this beautiful park, the Ben's Cave and an awesome beach where we had plenty if time to swim and explore the area. Bring with you: your camera, a cap, sunscreen, bathing suit and beach towel, some money for the lunch, around 15$/person. The tour started at 8:30 until 16:00 and we got to drive a lot the jeep, which was fun. This tour worth the money...
