Very pleasant local botanical garden. My most enjoyable activity in 4 days in Freeport, after disembarking from a liveaboard dive boat / swim with dolphins.
The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that it is obviously a bit worn, from hurricanes and funding challenges. I suppose that even if it were not worn, it would not be as fancy as, say, Kew Gardens.

Much to see with an indoor air conditioned area that had the history of Grand Bahama and it's founding people all the way back to the Arowak. I've mostly been there for events (they host lots of good stuff), but there are beautiful trails, and a pond, and educational materials that talk about the ecology of The Bahamas.
