Forbes Hill Beach — Attraction in Exuma

Wow, this beach is a gem. Everytime we went to this beach we were practically the only people here. We loved the shaded area for the kids to play, you can walk through a little path to another beach if you want. You can even walk on the rocks to a little carved out cove by the water for a more hidden place to relax. This was one of our favorite beaches for our family on the island of Exuma.🌴🩵

I did not see any bathrooms but maybe we missed them. Parking was easy and the road was easily accessible but is a one way so be cautious of that.

There are many, but one of the things that makes Exuma THE best is the number of unique beaches, with each having its own character, and an opportunity to enjoy a safe beach atmosphere, all within just a few miles of each other. In addition, none seem to ever be crowded, and we’re often the only people there. While I could easily say Forbes Hill Beach is one of the best in the world, there are many that could share that crown, which is why Exuma, and all of her white sand and clear blue water beaches, make it THE best tropical paradise...

Incredible beach..but aren't they all in Exuma? Not sure why this was listed as Permanently Closed (because it isn't). The side road is very rough but short lived to get to the open parking area before the beach itself.

We went on a windy day and therefore I wouldn't recommend going in the water as the riptides looked strong with the big waves.
