Iguanas.....not my thing! We visited as part of a booked tour. We were permitted to feed the iguanas with green lettuce, however warned not to get too close as they can bite. Personally I threw the lettuce and kept my distance, I'm not fond of reptiles and their unpredictable nature. There were other tourists present and they enjoyed getting close.
The day we visited was cloudy thus not many iguanas were present (this was fine by me!!) Apparently on a sunny day the beach area is awash with lots of them.
