The way to get there… Google maps took us around for a loop through unpleasant types of roads. I would highly recommend going through the yellow highlighted path. Note it is a one lane. A four wheel drive car is recommended. Once you get there, you would have to walk as some areas are filled with mud and it will be difficult to get out of if you get stuck. The beach was stunning. No one was there when we were then hence we had the beach all to ourselves. Snorkeling was a little challenging as the waves were tough as you swim further out and visibility was not good. Read moreBeautiful cove with calm waters on the northern part of the island. Getting here by car is tricky, however. We had a beater of an SUV and made it driving carefully. It had rained the night prior to our visit; the last quarter mile or so was one big mud puddle - lots of mosquitoes. We parked on the side of the road and walked the last portion. This cove is a popular spot for boats; there were several boaters there when we arrived, playing music and grilling on the beach.
