Da Salty Pig Adventures — Attraction in Spanish Wells

Gary (our tour guide) was a delight! DSP Adventures accepted Zelle & Venmo payments, which relieved a lot of stress on our part since we didn’t have quick access to an ATM for cash. The price for this tour was more than reasonable, especially in comparison to the more commercialized competitors. This tour company prides itself on providing you with a local guide who is very knowledgeable, and that indeed was Gary. He showed up early to the pickup location and to our surprise, we were the only people on board (it was a private tour, not a huge group of random people jumbled together like how the commercialized companies do it). Gary was kind, provided us with water and snorkeling gear (plus a floatie), and taught us a bunch of cool & fun facts as we traveled from island to island. He also taught us how to properly care for and interact with the animals and sea life we encountered, which was the highlight of our trip and something we definitely noticed that the commercialized companies skimped out on. My husband and I recently traveled to Harbour Island Bahamas with our 3 and 5 year old daughters and Jansen and his team made our experience FLAWLESS. I cannot say enough about the knowledge, kindness and professionalism of Da Salty Pig. He tailored our half day charter to suit the needs of two small children and created an amazing day for our family that we will never forget. I cannot say enough good things about these wonderful people and will book them every single time I travel to the Bahamas. If I could give them 100 stars I would. We had an awesome day with Capt Doug. So much stuff packed into our day. Sandbar where we found lots of sand dollars and other critters, the swings where there were plenty of spoiled sting rays and giant needle fish, the pigs at the pig beach, a great lunch at the Sandbar Restaurant, spoiled/ tame turtles and a great snorkeling spot. We also had a great day on a land tour with Garry. He took us to Preachers Cave where the ship wreck survivors found shelter, the Sapphire Blue Hole, the Queens Baths and more.
