Read moreWith long weekend ahead we started looking for day trip places. Decided to try out Malkiyah beach which is near hamad town on west side of Bahrain. We started for the place around 12.30 pm with very less expectations. Horrible stretch of Approach road (700 meters) to the beach made us think whether we had made good decision to come to this place. But once we reached the beach it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Car parking is adequate and place has a long Public sand beach. It is relatively clean with majorly local families coming with their chairs and carpets to sit and have fun. I think it is one of the best places to see sunset on sea in Bahrain Would recommend this place for a trip...

It’s one of the free beaches nowadays in Bahrain 🇧🇭, and beautiful places to witness sunset 🌅.
The beach 🏖 is accessible to swim any time, no lifeguard, swim 🏊♀️ on your own risk, though there is no-risk🤷♂️.
There are few shops to buy stuffs like tea, coffee, ice cream, milk shakes, juices, chips, kites 🪁, football ⚽️ and many kids toys.
There is a washroom, prayer place.
There is a separate area for kids to play, paid play area but very reasonable price.
