Phi Phi Islands mini travel guide ⬇️ ⛴️ HOW TO GET THERE There is no airport on the island, so you will need to fly to either Krabi or Phuket and then take the ferry from there (the ferry can take anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours depending on where you depart from and how fast the boat is) 🏨 WHERE TO STAY There are so many accommodation options depending on your budget. I stayed at the Blu Monkey hotel and paid about $32 USD per night ⛵️ WHAT TO DO The most popular thing to do in the Phi Phi Islands is go on a boat tour! I went on a 6 hour private tour and visited Maya Bay, Pi Leh Lagoon, Bamboo Island, and Monkey Beach. It cost $127 for the tour and it was definitely worth it! Other things to do on the island are relax at the beach, go kayaking, go snorkeling, and hike up to the island viewpoints Are the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand on your bucket list?? 🇹🇭🌴 #phiphiislands #phiphiislandsthailand #phiphiisland #thailandisland #amazingthailand #amazingplacestosee #mustvisitplace #travelguide

Doing a longtail boat ride is an absolute must when you’re visiting Thailand, especially when you’re in Koh Phi Phi. During our tour, we visited these locations: 📍 Maya Bay 📍 Ko Phi Phi Lee 📍 Pi Leh Bay 📍 Monkey Beach 📍 Bamboo Island Start early to avoid the crowds! We started our tour at 6.30am and got to Maya Bay around 7.15am and it was already busy! If you’re planning to visit Maya Bay and Bamboo Island, you have to pay an additional fee of 400 baht (≈ $11.50) as they are part of a national park. There are several companies offering these tours, and the prices differ based on what type, how many people and number of hours. We paid 3,500 baht (≈ $101) for a VIP boat (super comfy seating area) for two people, 6 hours including water & fruit. Is Thailand on your bucket list? It should be 🤩 📌 Save this for your Thailand trip! ______________ #ThailandInsider #explorethailand #inlovewiththailand #solofemaletraveler #travelgram #traveltheworldwithme #kohphiphi #kohphiphiisland #mayabay #discoverthailand #exploretheworld #welivetoexplore #welivetotravel

You can buy the trip on the same day. It is advised to go with more people because the taxi price is the same. Make sure to bargain the price. We booked 3 hours and it felt little time at the island, because there is a long travel time. I think 4 hours would’ve been better. You have to pay 400 baht per person to get to the beach, which we found out before leaving the boat. Our driver collected the fee but to be honest im not sure if he payed the fee or just kept the money. There is a counter in the island to pay, but no one seems to care if you dont. The beach is very clean and spacious. Beware of the rush hour with all the big tour boats carrying lots lf people. The sun was very strong they day we went. There are trees that provide shadow but are far away from the water. The sea was not very calm and lots of waves. We couldnt use our snorkels. But other days might be better. Bring your own food and water because there are no stores available. Bottomline, its a great place to spend a few hours.

Amazingly beautiful beach, fine white sand and turquoise sea. Stunning! Of course, as you might expect, Bamboo is far from being a desert island. Speed boats take hundreds of tourists here. Most only stay for an hour or so (those who have booked a 4/6/9 islands tour), especially during lunch time the beach is extremely busy. Most people ramain at the broad part of the beach where the speed boats arrive. But it is recommendable to walk a bit to the left or right. Here, the beach is not as broad, the sand is not quite as fine as at the main beach and there are quite some rocks in the water and at the beach, but few people come here and snorkeling is quite good. At the main beach, there are toilets and a snack bar (pricey!). The centre of the island is a small jungle, so there is plenty of shade around the island.
