Binodia Family Park — Attraction in Jashore

Binodia Family Park has been constructed at a place called Shantala in Jessore Cantonment, just five kilometers away from Jessore district town. Lt. Col. Faiz Ahmed built Binodia Family Park in 1998. For entertainment, Binodia Family Park has various interesting rides, mini zoo, children's park, river, Robin Hood's house, artificial fountain, conference room and dining facilities. The park is located in a picturesque environment at Shantala in the cantonment just 5 km from Jessore city. The park was established in the 5th under the initiative of Lt. Col. Faiz Ahmed. Previously there was an open field. For entertaining, there are mini zoos, parks for children, small rivers, Robinhood houses, artificial fountains, 2 food stalls. The park is located inside Jashore Cantonment area and entrance fee of the park is 50 taka for civilians. The fee seemed high at first, but later found out that it was worth it. It takes about one and a half hour to walk and see the whole park. The Buri Bhairab river flows to the east side of the park. There is a military shooting range to the north, but it is prohibited for the civilians to go there. The park is neat, clean and green, a must visit place if you are visiting Jashore.
