I've been coming to Queen's Park for decades, it's a park where lots of cultural outdoor activities and national events takes place annually along with an art gallery and museum inside. The Park has well spread out grounds with room for tents, an entertainment stage and an on-site pavilion along with a cricket playing field and kids play area. Having a North and South gate...the park acts as a short cut for pedestrians to get from one side to the other without having to use the busy street outside which has no sidewalks. The park is well maintained with good upkeep of grounds with a nice fountain display into the shape of Barbados and it's parish pedestals signage, just as you would see it on a map. Barbados's oldest tree can be found here with another less aged one in Warrens which I reviewed previously. I recently attended a Father's day event which was quite nice and fun filled for the whole family with games and activities centered around honouring Fathers...a good visit when traversing through the city with nice benches to relax.

Loved Queens park especially since it was Christmas morning and folks came out to display their outfits, which showed vibrant colors and styles that captivated the eye. The park was well maintained. I especially appreciated the informational columns that displayed facts on each Parish. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Queens Park is a beautiful landscape treasure of Barbados. Very tranquil and picturesque for cool backdrop pics. Love it. I've not been inside the Daphne Hacket theatre as yet but I've heard it's perfect for film and live entertainment.

This is a wonderful place to go during the day. Sometimes you just need to have some quiet time and queen's park is just the place for that. Popular for many events such as the beloved argofest and others, it is sometimes quite the hotspot. If you're a cricket fan you can spectate those matches. I would say it is an ideal spot for a picnic and very easy to get to being that the bus terminal is not too far away. I love queens park and would encourage anyone else to come and enjoy this little slice of tranquility even as they're going about their busy shopping...

This lovely park is on the way between Bridgetown and the southern towns. You'll notice high grey walls with a painted wrought iron fence sitting atop. Inside are many green areas, a gazebo, a (not running) fountain, cricket and soccer fields, as well as playgrounds and walking paths. There is a little highlighted Boabab tree between the cricket field and main building. It is 90' tall and 81' feet around! It is huge! And probably really old. This park is good for a...
