This is up there as one of our favorite activities we’ve done thus far on our trip to Barbados. We did the coastal hike and learned so much about the reserve. Elijah was an outstanding guide that was passionate and knowledgeable. I got overheated at one point and he cracked open some coconuts for me and called a truck down and we did the rest of our tour by vehicle which was just as amazing and worthwhile. I was in good hands and so thankful for Elijah and the rest of the staff! The views around the reserve and on the beach are amazing. This place is a must visit, especially if you are also passionate about the environment and regenerative practices. I wish I could give more stars!

Fabulous walking tour this morning with Elijah through Walkers Reserve, a sand quarry being regenerated to create an eco reserve for plants, animals, butterflies, insects and birds. Elijah's warm personality , knowledge & enthusiasm shone through. On the fun walk we learned a lot about the reserve and their plans to regenerate the reserve land, trialling and sharing planet-friendly ideas and practices with farmers, schools and anyone else in Barbados they can reach. Throughly recommend a visit.

This was our second visit to Walkers Reserve as a family. The first was for a tree-planting activity, and this time for the moonlight hike and breadfruit roast. Everything was well organised, and we all really enjoyed. Such beautiful scenery, a wonderful ending with the delicious breadfruit bowls and rum punches, and the kids loved the smores on the bonfire. 100% recommend as a unique and fun family activity.

My group went on a tour of the reserve and it was both informative and enjoyable. Our guide (Watu - not sure about the spelling, sorry if this is wrong!) was super knowledgable and friendly, and was keen to teach us all about the sustainable practices that the reserve is trying out to encourage biodiversity and climate resilience. The land itself is beautiful - my highlight was heading down to the beach and watching the Atlantic roll in - and you’ll also get to enjoy a coconut water which was delicious. Be sure to bring a bottle of water with you as you can get warm when wandering around. All in all, the tour was enjoyable and I left with more knowledge about the techniques the reserve is trying out to become more climate positive, and I hope that it proves an inspiration and model for more centres as...

I visited Walker's Reserve while vacationing in Barbados with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The tour guide was warm and friendly, and all the staff were very welcoming. The tour itself was a relaxing ride in an open-back truck along scenic trails. We made several stops along the way to pick fruits straight from the trees, including fat pork and sea grapes.

At the end of the tour, we stopped and took a short walk to the beach. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and we took lots of pictures before heading back. We also got to taste fresh honey made on-site by the bees. Overall, it was a relaxing, educational, and fun experience that I would...
