My group went on a tour of the reserve and it was both informative and enjoyable. Our guide (Watu - not sure about the spelling, sorry if this is wrong!) was super knowledgable and friendly, and was keen to teach us all about the sustainable practices that the reserve is trying out to encourage biodiversity and climate resilience. The land itself is beautiful - my highlight was heading down to the beach and watching the Atlantic roll in - and you’ll also get to enjoy a coconut water which was delicious. The views around the reserve and on the beach are amazing. This place is a must visit, especially if you are also passionate about the environment and regenerative practices. I wish I could...
Read moreI visited Walker's Reserve while vacationing in Barbados with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The tour guide was warm and friendly, and all the staff were very welcoming. The tour itself was a relaxing ride in an open-back truck along scenic trails. We made several stops along the way to pick fruits straight from the trees, including fat pork and sea grapes.
At the end of the tour, we stopped and took a short walk to the beach. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and we took lots of pictures before heading back. We also got to taste fresh honey made on-site by the bees. Overall, it was a relaxing, educational, and fun experience that I would...
