Prachtig domein!
Vergane glorie waar hier en daar de natuur de overmacht begint te nemen.
Een unieke locatie die mijn inziens nog tal van mogelijkheden biedt!
Het kasteeldomein van Poeke is gelegen in een bosrijk park met een ronduit schitterend kasteel in een speciale bouwstijl met lichtroze gevels.
Het kasteel zelf kan je blijkbaar enkel bezoeken met een gids, maar het domein is dagelijks (gratis) open.
Behalve het prachtige kasteel, kan je nog andere bezienswaardigheden ontdekken op het domein:
*Franse en Engelse tuin. Waar stilaan de buxusrups zijn werk heeft gedaan en ook wat onkruid tussen de haagjes en planten hun weg hebben gevonden.
*hondenkennel met bakkersoven *koetshuis met paardenstallen
Er zijn enkele aangeduide wandelingen in en rond het domein (met bijhorend infoborden over de site zelf)
