My class visited the caves as part of our unit on the Stone Age. These are some of their comments. *It was a thrilling experience because the staff were nice and it was interesting to learn lots of different things about the stone age. *The experience was wonderful; the activities were great and I would recommend it for school trips. *The caves were brilliant because we got to see lots of teeth and Anne (our guide) explained everything very well. *It was a really interesting experience that gave you a picture in your mind. The caves and the hunting were lots of fun and it gave you a good idea of what life was like in the Stone Age. *We got to see real archeologist working to find teeth and artefacts. Il faut évidemment être intéressé par le passé de notre histoire.
On voit le travail de folie qui est fait, l'animateur qui est aussi archéologue dans cette même grotte est très pédagogique et aime son métier ça se ressent.
Nous suivons les pas des archéologues, on en apprend beaucoup.
La fouille de la grotte est loin d'être terminé, dans la partie publique, les fouilles sont en cours. Une partie non balisée est en attente, visitable dans un futur assez lointain étant donné la masse de fouille à faire dans la première partie. Possibilité de visiter ensuite le musée du phare, un peu plus loin, en rapport avec les découvertes de la grotte, en autres.
J'y retournerai chaque année pour voir l'évolution
