Good view over the forrest and the nearby trainstation, there are better views on other towers in Limburg to take panoramic...

Kleinspurbahn. Strecke 1200 m. Auch ein alter Bahnhof dabei mit Café. Und wenn ich richtig gehört habe 1,80€ für Kinder. Aber da bin ich mir nicht sicher. Das Züglein war auf jeden Fall voll mit Familien und sogar 2 Hunden. Ich denke mal er fährt immer Sonntags im Sommer. Genau dort ist ein Aussichtsturm. Sehr hoch. Mit Gittertreppen. Was...

31 meter hoge uitkijktoren aan het Station As, maakt deel uit van het Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen. Hier heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de nabijgelegen natuur en de terrils van de oude steenkoolmijnen. Van hieruit kan je, via een wandelbrug, de Mechelse Heide bereiken met vele bewegwijzerde wandelingen.

Zeker de moeite waard om de toren op te klauteren, maar je mag geen hoogtevrees hebben 😉 Aansluitend gewoon even het wegje oversteken en het kleine openluchtmuseum bekijken. Ook zeker aan te raden met kinderen. En je kunt er ook mooi wandelen.

31 meter hoge uitkijktoren aan het Station As, maakt deel uit van het Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen. Hier heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de nabijgelegen natuur en de terrils van de oude steenkoolmijnen. Van hieruit kan je, via een wandelbrug, de Mechelse Heide bereiken met vele bewegwijzerde wandelingen.

Zeker de moeite waard om de toren op te klauteren, maar je mag geen hoogtevrees hebben 😉 Aansluitend gewoon even het wegje oversteken en het kleine openluchtmuseum bekijken. Ook zeker aan te raden met kinderen. En je kunt er ook mooi wandelen.
