Beautiful moors with wooden walkways that make it convenient to traverse. The landscape is really green in July. The walkways are almost always in good condition, but there were a few patches in between where you walk through a bit of mud. Keep in mind the area is divided into zones, some of which are not open to visitors. It helps to check local maps before visiting.

Beautiful nature area where you can do plenty of different hikes. We did 11km with our dog and had a great time. Please note that not all areas are accessible with a dog, and if you're travelling with children some hikes may be too demanding (although there are plenty of really good alternatives at Les Haute Fagnes for both).

We spent a very interesting day in the park. We visited only one small part and I hope we will visit again soon because we really liked it! We have found several interesting places for taking photos and enjoying nature. The wooden paths were somewhat rotted, so it was a bit of a problem for us to walk on them.

Wonderful place with a really specific ecosystem. You will be able to see specific birds, insects and carnivorous plants (drosera) if you are looking for them. Plan a day there. I recommend to start from "La baraque Michel". There are lots of paths starting from there and a big free parking. Please respect the place, and stay on the path (also for safety reasons, as the place is a short of swamp). If possible go there in the morning when the weather is good. The place is well know and can be a bit heavy in the middle of the day. The other option is to plan a long walk and go as far as possible from the starting point. More far you are less people...

The best place for snow walks and cross-country skiing. The xc-skiing tracks here can be linked with other tracks for long days on the skis. 'Parc Nature' (the park tourist information) has good maps and books, beers and an open fire most of the time. 'Signal de Botragne' is the highest point, has lots of parking, also for RVs. Both places can get very busy when there is snow in the weekend. Also good for walks in summer, forrest and march-lands with bridges...
