It's a bit difficult to judge. I find it an interesting building but it will depend on you mostly if the experience is worth it for you or not. The builder of this place is a bit of a guru kinda type who wrote many phylosophical books and had a special world view I would say. That sort of stuff I don't care about much. But if that's your cup off tea you'll have a field day. For the 7 euros you can see the inside of the building which takes about 20 to 30 mins and after that you can have a stroll in the garden behind the building where sculptures of this man are exhibited. That's another 30 mins so in total it's about an hour worth of...

What a touching, but dark impression/story Robert Garcet has left behind.

If it wasn’t for me I would have given this 5 stars, but my mom is from the US, so she only had the English leaflet that we received at the start of the tour, so I’d love to see an updated English version of a lot of information, but I also understand that would be nearly impossible given all everything that is on display.

I also loved the digital “Encyclopedias” on old computers inside the museum, it really reached out to me (I can speak French and Dutch) and helped me a lot understanding the true story...

Severely overrated. I liked the tower from the outside and the garden (especially if you go during the winter it gives you this haunted feeling). But if you don't know from before who the man who built the tower is or his story, it's just not interesting to learn about it (at least to my likings). It's 6 very boring and bad maintained floors about him, there's nothing else to do unless you go to the rooftop or the garden but it's not worth to pay 6€ for what essentially is a show off someone did for himself. Especially when the tower inside is in such a...

One of the stranger museums I’ve ever seen in the countryside on the border between Flanders and Wallonia between Maastricht and Liège. The creator, Robert Garcet, was an eccentric man so affected by the evils of World War II that in the 50’s and 60’s he used native flint left over from local mining to create an apocalypse museum six stories high called the Tower of Eben-Ezer. It is topped by four winged cherubs (eagle, sphinx, bull and lion) and full of references to the Bible and numerology.

The Tower of Eben-Ezer is a fascinating place to visit for young and old. While everyone will enjoy the tower and surrounding park, the exhibits primarily cater to adult visitors. Visitors should be aware that access to the top of the tower requires ascending a winding stair.
