This museum is situated on an ancient airbase (WWII till 90's) and is kept alive thanks to volunteers. The planes, flight engines, trucks, pilot suits, survival kits, guns, and so many more are original pieces. And they are displayed just in front of you. You can even touch most of the items. It makes your experience ever so real. The volunteers will explain to you with enthousiasm and rightfull proudness the history and function of the site, the airplanes that are displayed on the grounds, the workings of the different flight engines to how an ejector seat of a jet fighter works etc. They know it all. Everyone should pay visit to this place in remembrance and acknowledgement of this important piece in...

Great museum to visit with family or friends. We had a lovely guide in training willing to show us around and tell more about the specific history of the different airplanes.

The museum has a very nice collection of airplanes, vehicles and more for different eras and an nice overview of the history of the airbase, all fully maintained and supported by a group of volunteers. This includes a C-130 Hercules, several F-104 Starfighters and a Mig 21bis.

Tickets can be bought at the entrance of the main building of the museum and the staff is very friendly. Open every second and fourth Sunday of the month or on request for...

The 9 euro entrance fee is worth it, and is intended to continue the effort to preserve this amazing museum. A big star of the open-air exhibition is the C-130 which you can enter inside and observe the fuselage with all equipment still on board and the cockpit. In excellent condition, Mirage 5, F-16, F-104, RF-84, Alpha jet, Mig-21, Spitfire, Fouga CM.170 Magister, T-33, Gloster Meteor F.8, ancillary equipment and military vehicles, Helicopters and the fantastic Sikorsky H-19 (S-55) Single engine light...
