Lac de Bernissart — Attraction in Bernissart

After a lovely camping trip along the french coast we decided to visit Lille on our way back to the city of cologne. Lille, while not being to fancy of a city, really sparked our interest after a somewhat chill and revitalizing time out at the beach. Unfortunately the weather was a bit rainy, so we were quite overwhelmed by the heat that the concrete jungle presented us with. We opted for a cone of icecream (pistachio) and a piece of cake (also pistachio) to cool off and enjoy the shade in the busy city centre. We then left the city life behind and searched for a restaurant in one of the smaller villages surrounding Lille. To our surprise there was not much to be found, but a chinese restaurant called „Ming Dinasty“. I didn‘t quite like my food as much as my trusty camper buddy, but to my delight she shared her Chicken red curry and we ended up having a lovely dinner after all. It was already nearing sunset when we got back on the road in desperate search for a place to spend the last night of our trip. Google maps suggested us this remote lake, where plenty of men proudly presented their fish to whoever visits this here entry. Upon arrival we crossed the rocky road to find a up beautiful lake glistening in the last sunlight. We set up camp and had a lemon tea and a piece of chocolate, before entering the pearly gates of a good night‘s sleep. 8 blissful hours later we were awoken by busy fisherman hunting old timey creatures of the ocean. The cheerful chatter of said fisherman send us on our way to return to our very own lives. Blessed with memories of past travels and eager to greet the new day head on, we returned upon our journey to the unknown. 4/5 stars, but only because the car had to be parked slightly sideways and it made cuddling...

Le personnel ou tu payé sont de alcoolique, donne pas de information, prend vite l'argent apres te dit que tu peux pas choisir la place, vraiment agresiv, je dit que je veut pas rester la ma dit que me va pas donne l'argent, je ete obligé de laissé l'argent pour cette mensonge je roule 93 km avec 2 enfants pour aller la 😠de cette argent tu peux boire encore...

Nous y allons souvent et franchement personnel au top , à l’écoute de ses clients et très beau cadre...
