The castle is beautiful. It’s a private property so you can only visit it at certain days and times over the summer. No photos inside the castle. The tour is only available in Dutch. There are a few signs inside the castle in English, but only a few, which makes the visit very long and boring. The guide was very friendly and she did introduced the castle to us in English and commented at certain moments during the tour. We were a very large group, 19 people, and there were moments when we were in tiny rooms and it was hot and we were packed which was very uncomfortable. I found the website not very user friendly. Buy your tickets in advance otherwise you...

"This castle is an incredible destination to spend a full day exploring the rich history of the kings' residence. Not only can you marvel at the majestic architecture, but you can also immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of the castle's dinner parties and admire a remarkable collection of antique items dating back to the 17th century. Prepare to have an unforgettable day while taking in the magnificent views and embracing the castle's...

The exterior was beautiful, the guide enthusiastic, but as much as she tried it's really hard to make a silk purse from a pigs ear. The supposed highlight was a room of copper plate prints by someone I didn't know or care about. Was sold as a fairy tale like castle and experience, sadly anything but. Past a WWII concentration camp on the way really wish that had have been a...
