The castle is a nice place to visit. It's quite interesting to visit the former residence of the d'Ursel family. There are mostly portraits and some old furniture on display. Quite a few chambers are dedicated to the Brussels residence of the family, that was torn down in the 1960's. Furthermore, the surrounding park is worth the walk. Quite a part of it feels more like a forest then a park really. It has some larger grassy fields for kids to play on. For children, there is very little to do. A small playground or something...

As a vintage lifestyle lover we had a wonderfull event here at the castle feasts. The people responsible for the occasion did a wonderful job. After all the location is beautiful and has a wonderful history, though going upstairs in the chateau what’s not allowed I took a look and found out it’s a museum. Would’ve liked it more to just see the interior completely with furniture instead of signs. After all...
